Daisychain Connection ‘new’ album release
by cushty on Dec.10, 2010, under Daisychain Connection, Music Stuff
The Daisychain Connection’s debut album ‘Mood Swings’ has finally been released. 20+ years later than planned, but hey, we got there in the end. I have already made space on my wall for the inevitable platinum discs. Check out the new release at the Apple iTunes store.
Daisychain Videos

I’ve added a handful of Daisychain Connection videos to the site. Long before the days of YouTube bands had to actually get on the telly to be noticed. We reached the dizzy heights of now long gone Border News and Look Around (i.e. Border crack ‘n deek aboot). There’s also some footage from our favourite haunt & practise place the now legendary, fantastic , Front Page club in Carlisle.

Daisychain Connection
Way back in 1986 – 1991 I played drums in a band called The Daisychain Connection.
Yes, that’s me on the left, with hair.
We were way ahead of our time. So far ahead, that we are only being fully appreciated well over 20 years later! There has been a recent spate of international interest in the Carlisle band that never quite made it. Apparently the yoof of Miami, Berlin and Japan are now grooving at to the ‘classic’ sounds and clamouring for more material.
Here are some of the songs which were re-recorded in 2007 .
