Way back in 1986 – 1991 I played drums in a band called The Daisychain Connection.

Yes, that’s me on the left, with hair.

We were way ahead of our time. So far ahead, that we are only being fully appreciated well over 20 years later! There has been a recent spate of international interest in the Carlisle band that never quite made it. Apparently the yoof of Miami, Berlin and Japan are now grooving at to the ‘classic’ sounds and clamouring for more material.

Were the original versions of the songs recorded back in the late 80s – early 90s?

The original Daisychain songs were all recorded in between 1986-1991 (ish!). It’s certainly a looooong time ago now. We did several demo’s for record companies and also a self funded single ‘Bingo & Bossa Nova’.
