Houston we no longer have a problem

Photos back online again! tippety-top.

A mere flick of the wrist (well, OK , some total confusion, fiddling around and several re-installs of Shashin) along with some advice from Mr Michael Toppa and my photo collection is restored. Well, it filled a couple of hours when I should really have been outside cutting the grass.

My coding skills are being tested this afternoon. My photo gallery isn’t playing ball. A thousand apologies to my millions of visitors. Normal service will be resumed….when I find the answer! >Go straight to Google. Do not pass go. Do not collect £200.

About me?

Playing in The Cavern, Liverpool 2006

Playing in The Cavern, Liverpool 2006

My name is Neil Fraser, born many moons ago (well 44 years ish) in Carlisle, UK.  But I guess if you are here you may already know this…?

I’ve been married to my best friend, Fiona for twenty one years now. (that looks pretty scary when it’s written down!).

I have worked in IT for the vast majority of my career & I am really interested in all things ‘webby’ . Hence the tech page!

I’ve played drums in quite a few bands over the years. Folks might know me from The Daisychain Connection or Giant Loop of Sound. I still play drums once in a while and am currently enjoying  playing the guitar, very badly , with Mr.Dunn, Mr.Kirton & Mr.Wavis.

When I get the opportuntiy, I’m a keen Scuba diver.

Please feel free to get in touch with me

Daisychain Connection

Daisychain Connection

Daisychain Connection

Way back in 1986 – 1991 I played drums in a band called The Daisychain Connection.

Yes, that’s me on the left, with hair.

We were way ahead of our time. So far ahead, that we are only being fully appreciated well over 20 years later! There has been a recent spate of international interest in the Carlisle band that never quite made it. Apparently the yoof of Miami, Berlin and Japan are now grooving at to the ‘classic’ sounds and clamouring for more material.
Here are some of the songs which were re-recorded in 2007 .
